They were all certainly back in Bottlebomb City, but where? Not in front of the portal, that's a solid fact. This section of the city was less recreational and more-so residential, many homes littered the area.
Some people would poke their heads out to see the blinding light coming from Fiore, but didn't take much of a note of it. A mere fly in the fruit salad; nothing important.
Kasib loosened his grip on Freya and she collided towards the ground, nicking her head on the brick. She lie there sprawled while Kasib was preoccupied among other things...such as swearing, spitting, and hopping up angrily off the bricks.
Fiore spun overhead them chanting spells. His eyes were sealed shut and he was too busy to hear Kasib screaming obscenities at him. If he strained his ears at what Fiore was saying, he would be able to understand it, most spells were Helkian language laced. After all, the continent of Helk was the magic continent and Bottlebomb was one of it's major cities! Alas, he was making a fool of himself.
"Do you expect me to take this!? I have to make a fucking living too you... you snake!"
Freya peeled herself off the ground and the blood dripping down from her facial cut was now evident. She walked over to Kasib and grimaced at him, almost as if expecting some sort of sympathy. She had then interjected him.
"Oh, surely you do. By attacking people who need your help and selling their dead bodies. Gross."
"Kid, I've been doin' this for years. I haven't for three but the Black Market loves select fresh bodies. Doctors buy 'em for experiments, and you two just seemed like choice."
"I didn't ask why you wanted us," rolled off her tongue. "anyways, you're stuck with me for now."
"Why?"
"Oh, because Fiore said so. In his weird chant talk."
"Tsk. Funny joke, but I've gotta appointment to be at."
Kasib started to run out towards Fiore's side and jump over him like a hurdle. As he was attempting this, he propelled back by an unknown force. The recoil forced him to sit on the ground next to Freya.
"...god damn it! Ugh, whadd'ya want with me anyways?"
She leaned over him and smiled kindly.
"You'll see."
