"If you would mind, Moctrine, I must contact my comrade. She will be talking to you momentarily."
Fiore rolled his tongue in disgust. He didn't WANT to contact Freya about anything important, and he didn't HAVE to. Yet, if he did not contact her he would never hear the end of it. It was a predicament to overcome.
"Go ahead!"
At this, Fiore closed his eyes and focused hard on telepathy with Freya. In order for the telepathy to work, Freya would have to consent to the invasion of her mind, as did Fiore. Admittedly, it'd be easier if they could both use phones instead, but the two had wallets of dust. Most of their problems would solve if they owned the slightest amount of Helle...
"Freya... what have you accomplished?"
"Yo! I'm drafting a holo-map of the area. I've documented the appearance of everyone who has passed by so far as well as all the stores and huts around the main square. I asked them all about job openings, but none of them wanted a witch."
"That makes sense, witches from Upperworld are obtuse."
"..."
"By the way, I've made an important finding."
"What's that?"
"You could turn in Kasib for a huge bounty."
"Yeah but I can't do that ALONE. The guy nearly pounded my face earlier!"
"You're going to have to because I'm going out to the bar for the day."
"W-what?! Are you serious? We don't have money yet and you're--- UGH!"
"Also, may we switch eyes for a few? I wish to see what Kasib is doing."
"It's not like you're doing anything of use anyways... Fine, but make it quick. I want to finish my holo-map so I have it for reference."
Freya's vision has swapped with Fiore's vision, this being another perk of telepathy. Freya only squinted strangely at Moctrine while Fiore stared intensively at Kasib. The phalynx had not said a word, he only picked at the dirt from under his claws.
