Turning a corner, he had brought the duo to an odd hourglass shaped portal built into the clay stones. Kasib was a shady customer, but Fiore urged to continue following along with Kasib's foul play. It was to invigorate curiosity; Freya had tagged along, too, but unlike Fiore she was desperate for money of any sort. She needed it, after all.
She'd kill someone if she had to, for money, she joked to Fiore. He swatted the air at her ill humored joke and headed straight back into silent treatment territory. He twiddled his huge reptilian thumbs and bobbed his tail in impatience. Kasib was busy.
A few minutes they waited at this portal while Kasib was tinkering with it, tracing his finger along the edges of the portal. He occasionally looked at the shadows cast by the suns in yonder. He was calculating... thinking deeply... best not disturb him.
At long last he came to a start. "Aha! I've got it! Follow me through this portal here and we're gonna visit some acquaintances of mine, I'm sure they can get cash outta one of ya!"
