It was only three years ago when they found Kasib, he had only been 18 at the time. He didn't want to face it, but Kasib was raised on the streets his entire life. It was nothing new to him, being in a gang and performing criminal activity; that was the only way he knew how to live.
So he thought.
There were (four now, he supposed) five members to the Evict Gang. The Evict Gang members were the following: Trul the Cyclops, Sari the Utterfly, Guavo the Pluto Fly Trap, Valor the Vitruvian Cow, and Kasib the Phalynx. It was an all girl gang. At the time anyways. It was one of Kasib's dreams to be a boy and he achieved it after he quit the gang's waterboy job. How ironic.
Kasib's second dream, yet, was to be a biologist. To accomplish such a feat, he required several thousand Char to enroll in academia. To do this, he pleaded for help from the most famous in-city gang. This gang was the Evict Gang. To gain money, he had to kill enemies of the gang and cash their bounties underground, at the Black Market.
After he procured eight thousand Char, he was to set off and go to Castle Lindwin, to study biology. Unbeknownst to him, the Gang's reputation trailed him. Whenever he attempted to leave the city, the militia would attempt to pulverize him and send him to jail. With that, his existence was stuck in Bottlebomb, as were his dreams.
It wasn't all depressing for Kasib. To him, he had a dear someone. It was Valor who gave him the courage to pursue his desires. She would tend to his wounds after the guards beat him down, despite being in the Evict Gang herself. It was Evict Gang rule to kill all who left the gang, but Valor did the opposite. Had she not been there and denied gang law, Kasib would have passed from timeless injuries.
It was strange to Kasib why he was resting in this hammock. Hospitals would never accept the scum of the earth here in the magic city, after all. They would either throw their asses down to the Black Market to fester, or discard them disposals. This was a happy country, after all! Who would want to waste their time on garbage? Not them.
Had his name been cleared if he could stay at the hospital? And what of Freya? Would she be able to make any money at the Black Market, let alone leave this city?
So he thought.
